日本特工突查教派“光之輪” (Japanese Agents Raid Cult “Circle of Light”)

日本情報(bào)人員突查了宗教團(tuán)體“光之輪”的辦公室。“光之輪”從1995年對(duì)東京地鐵站進(jìn)行導(dǎo)致人員傷亡的毒氣襲擊的奧姆真理教中分離出來(lái)。

有關(guān)官員說(shuō)，日本調(diào)查人員星期四對(duì)該組織在東京的總部以及分布在日本其它地方的10處會(huì)所進(jìn)行了檢查。奧姆真理教的前領(lǐng)袖上佑史浩早些時(shí)候說(shuō)，他已經(jīng)脫離奧姆真理教而自立教門(mén)，名為“光之輪”。他說(shuō)，他有大約160名追隨者。

奧姆真理教在2000年更名為“阿萊夫”，創(chuàng)始人麻原彰晃因東京地鐵襲擊案正在監(jiān)獄中等候死刑的執(zhí)行。東京地鐵襲擊造成12人喪生。

Japanese intelligence agents have raided the offices of Hikari no Wa, or Circle of Light, a religious group that broke away from the cult behind the deadly 1995 nerve gas attack in Tokyo's subway.

Officials say investigators carried out inspections Thursday of the group's Tokyo headquarters and 10 other facilities around the country. A former leader of the Aum Shinrikyo cult, Fumihiro Joyu, said earlier he had broken away from it and formed his own cult, called Hikari no Wa, or Circle of Light. Joyu says he has about 160 followers.

Japanese officials say the raids on Joyu's group are part of their ongoing surveillance of organizations that authorities believe may pose a threat to society.

The Aum cult renamed itself Aleph in 2000. Its founder, Shoko Asahara, is in prison awaiting execution for the Tokyo subway attack, which killed 12 people.
