近幾年,“啃老族”這個(gè)詞時(shí)不時(shí)都會(huì)被拿出來(lái)討論一陣。說(shuō)的是年輕一代經(jīng)濟(jì)上不能自立,還要靠家人的資助才能生活。我們今天要說(shuō)的這類(lèi)人,他們不只啃老,而是只要有可利用的資源他們就啃,是完全不勞而獲的“寄生人”。
A sponger is a person who lives off other people by continually taking advantage of their generosity. A sponge soaks up the water all around it. A sponger soaks up gifts, food and money without working.
Sponger(“寄生人”)指利用別人的慷慨、完全依賴(lài)別人的供給生活的人。之所以叫sponger,是因?yàn)閟ponge(海綿)會(huì)吸干它周?chē)械乃,而這些“寄生人”就像海綿一樣吸納各種饋贈(zèng)、食物和錢(qián)財(cái),卻不曾付出一分。
